Spanning three decades, Mark’s humanitarian efforts have been far-reaching working with non-profit organizations in the U.S. and abroad.
From combatting homelessness in Los Angeles to transforming the offices of one of the largest charities in South Africa -- Mark and his team work tirelessly to make a positive impact on people from all walks of life.
“It’s everyone’s birthright to live and work in a space that nurtures one’s greatest ambitions. Great design fosters that by tapping into the human spirit and having people want a better life for themselves.”
In 2013, Mark created a cause-marketing campaign for the International Design Guild called Design For A Difference (DFAD), which partners socially conscious businesses with interior designers to makeover much-needed spaces at local charities. With projects throughout the U.S. and Canada, the campaign has transformed over 110 spaces at non-profit organizations and contributed over $2.8M in products and services for social good.
Since its inception, Mark has served as the North American Spokesperson working closely with the Guild and its members to expand the campaign and reach as many communities as possible.
