Spanning three decades, Mark’s humanitarian efforts have been far-reaching working with non-profit organizations in the U.S. and abroad.
Serving as National Co-Chair for City of Hope in Duarte, CA, granting a celebrity wish for Make-A-Wish in Seattle, designing housing to combat homelessness for Step Up in Hollywood to transforming the offices of one of the largest charities in South Africa, THE BIG ISSUE -- Mark and his team work tirelessly to make a positive impact on people from all walks of life.
“It’s everyone’s birthright to live and work in a space that nurtures one’s greatest ambitions. Interior design can foster that by tapping into the human spirit and have people want a better life for themselves.”
In 2013, Mark co-founded Design For A Difference, the first-ever community-driven, designer movement that partners socially conscious businesses with interior designers to transform much-needed spaces at charities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Since its inception, the campaign has transformed over 75 spaces and contributed over $2M in products and services for social good.
